I have been a sofa geek most of my life but have decided all that needs to change. Last year I lost 3.5 stone and felt great, however, like so many others most of it went back on. Now enough is enough. Having spent the last 10 years concentrating on my career I’ve handed in my final uni essay and I’m taking a year out of education and career building to concentrate on me. I work long hours in healthcare where you don’t know when you’re going to get a break so eating well and exercising isn’t always easy! But I know it’s possible if I try. This blog is to track my progress, and hopefully inspire others in my position to get up and move. I will be mostly following slimming world for diet but may not follow it religiously.
